Crestview Golf Course first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by E. D. Carico.
The course is both scenic and difficult. It offers spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on at least four separate occasions. Holes #4, #11, and #13 have severe dogleg fairways. Hole #4, a 528-yard, par 5, bends to the left, while holes #11 and #13 bend to the right.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,903 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,385 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 568 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 110 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, the 528-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Crestview Golf Course is # 12, the 110 yard par-3.
